Monday night report

Well, folks, it's after midnight here, and we've had a full and fruitful and tiring day. We had over 200 children at our first vbs! Gratefully, the pastor had decided to have it a school nearby the church. Since it is summer here, and kids are out of school, it was avaialable, and they let us use it. All of these kids would not have fit into the church!

We were expecting 100 at the most, so needless to say, we had to shift gears pretty quickly. But the Lord blessed, and our team was awesome, and I am so proud of them.

Afterward, we had a few hours to shower and regroup, and then went to 2 home worship services where some of the church members had invited lost family or friends. Brandi Shoupe and Steve shared and I preached at one house. They were very responsive, and touched by Steve and Brandi. Dave and Kenda shared at the other house, and there were some there moved to tears at their words. Leann led that group, and said it was tremendous.

Pray for us on Tuesday-- as we go in the to a meeting with the mayor of the city at 10:30 AM here (7:30 Cinci time). Also, it is incredibly hot here. Pray for stamina and endurance. Then we will have 2 other home meetings tomorrow night. And pray for my voice-- I interpreted for Steve and Brandi, and then preached, and then counseled a lady for a good while, and my voice is about gone tonight. I will need it tomorrow.

Wednesday we have the same schedule.

Will try to stay in touch. Bro. Danny

Can you find Kenda?

Praying for the movement of the Holy Spirit. Praying for healing and return of Danny's voice. Praying for a cooling breeze to flow, relief from the heat. Praying for blessings on the precious families who open their homes to the lost, for the hearts of the lost to hear the message and embrace the "Good News". Praying for a smooth day in VBS, for young hearts accepting Christ.
