2008 Begins with Missions

Well, here is our Brazil Missions Team. Please be praying for us as we leave Friday, Jan. 4 at 7:15 PM, and fly all night, arriving at 10 am in Brazil.

I hope to have internet access so I can occassionally post pictures and updates while we are away and you can know how to pray for us.

Thanks to all who have expressed your support in so many different ways for our team. It is a great privilege to be able to obey the Great Commission and go into all the world. Thank you for your vital prayer support.

We will return on Jan. 15.



Then, on Jan. 13, another mission team led by Bill Carson will leave for Biloxi, MS., to do construction work on the still devastated Gulf Coast. In partnership with the Buckeye Builders of the Ohio Baptist Convention, we will be helping with the reconstruction of a house there. We will return Jan. 19.

(For those wondering, I am going down after I return from Brazil to help out the last few days.)

What a testimony to a world-conscious church that we have 2 teams going out this month!
